The gentleman I previously worked for used to tell me that if I wanted to make something a habit, all I had to do was repeatedly perform it for 21 times, and then it automatically becomes a part of my system. I have no idea if it works because if I really want to do something, I just do it, without counting how many times I have done it already.
However, just because it’s not the way for me does not mean it is not the way for others. It might actually be worth trying—especially if it pertains to developing the habit of healthy eating, because yes, it can be developed.
It does not have to be rigid. Going through it should be something fun. Otherwise, it is not going to work.
